The tour starts from the Larsson-Bikes store in Maribo at Lollands Centret 18, 4930 Maribo, where you can rent the bike that suits your needs - or have it delivered directly to your address on Lolland-Falster. From here you head north towards Kragenæs, and the route takes you through beautiful hilly landscape known as "The Lolland Alps".
Along the way you'll pass open fields, cozy villages and small stretches of forest - and as the crowning glory, the Dodekalite and the view of the Småland waters await you as you approach Kragenæs. Many people choose to take a break at the sculptures and enjoy the silence before continuing down to Kragenæs Harbor.
Kragenæs Harbor is an atmospheric little harbor that serves as a ferry terminal to Lolland's northern islands: Fejø, Femø and Askø. From here you can take your bike on board and explore the islands at your own pace. Each island has its own unique character - Fejø with its orchards and bike-friendly roads, Femø with hilly landscapes and cultural festivals, and Askø with peace and birdlife.
The islands are ideal for cycling and you can easily get around in a day - or choose to stay overnight and immerse yourself in the slow island life. By bike and ferry, you get the perfect combination of active vacation and true Danish island idyll.
At Larsson-Bike we offer bicycle delivery throughout Lolland and Falster, so you can easily start your adventure from your holiday home, hotel or another address that suits you best. You can also pick up your bike directly in Maribo and start your trip to Kragenæs Harbor from there.
We make it easy and flexible to get going - whether you want to take a day trip or a weekend trip to the islands.
We're happy to help you plan routes and ferry times to make the most of your time on your bike and the islands.
